The 2011 Case IH Scout Base is a UTV Style ATV equipped with an 480cc, Air Cooled, V Twin, OHV, 4-Stroke Engine and a Continuously Variable (CVT) Transmission. It has a Selectable 4X2 / 4X4 driveline.

The Scout Base has a McPherson Strut Front Suspension with 5.1 inches of travel while the Independent Rear Suspension has 5.2 inches of travel. The Scout Base has Front Hydraulic Disc Brakes and Rear Hydraulic Disc Brakes.
