very rude staff, I was looking at atv's with my young son, & was approached by a salesperson asking my son not to sit on the atv's. How the f--K are you supposed to get a feel for a bike you wish to purchase if you cant sit on them? I took my business to MTR in Woonsocket RI, was treated much better and purchased 2 Kawasaki atv's. avoid these clowns at all costs!!!!!!

Asked the service manager for a quote on doing a pair of fork seals on a Kawasaki. He said they don\'t do fork seals on bikes. I explained they sell Kawasaki motorcycles! I was told they mostly service four wheelers now and he was unsure about doing the fork seals. No wonder Yamaha-Kawasaki made them take down the Yamaha-Kawasaki of Putnam sign in the front parking lot. I was asked kindly to leave.

Brought my bike in on a Friday to replace a Clutch cable and to throw on a fresh rear tire. Said he was slow and has no work. He also said that it would be done Saturday Or Monday. Great. Called today. \"I haven\'t even touched it yet, i\'ve got other bikes. I\'m swamped.\" I have a long weekend this week and was planning on riding TODAY and SUNDAY and MONDAY with my buddies. Long story short is the bike won\'t be done until Tuesday the earliest. Thanks Putnam Kawasaki last time I go through you guys.

went to get parts for my raptor and they screwed me with no lube. $22 for an iol filter wtf? With the 3 quarts it came to $56 for a fucking oil change. The only good thing that ever came out of there was a set of bars i got on clearence. I would recommend that anyone looking for anything powersports related take the extra time and go to motorsports nation. PUTNAM KAWI FUCKING SUCKS BOTTOM LINE

Have bought new and used here as well as other places, atv\'s, bokes, jet-ski\'s,, sales is sales but have always been treated fairly, they actually call when my parts arrive and the service department is #1. After the sale...what do you want? Service.

I bought my 2006 ZX6R Special Eddition and was given a discount of over $1000 without even asking for one. I got a great deal on a helmet too. Which by the way was at the tagged price and $50 less than the cheapest RI dealer I found. The Bike was a steal deal! No added on fees like the others. I have found the sales team to be wonderful and knowledgable. I have service done there every year and have always got my bike back better than I left it.

Sales manager sucks wanted to punch him in the head told my wife that I shouldn't buy a bike cuz there to dangerous and wouldn't even make a deal on a helmet for buying a brand new bike. A- hole they should be out of business, no parts clothes or anything they suck.

been there several times with my warrior which i bought used and not from them. every time I went in or called, they took the time to treat me like i had bought the bike new from them the day before. they're service department walked me through my options and then everything they did with great attention to detail. i wouldn't take my bike anywhere else to be fixed.

been there twice both times a big mistake do us bikers a favorite close and let an honest dealer take your spot

I bought my 08 ninja zx6r special edition here this year new as a leftover. I got it for $7475 which was the best price around I could find. The salespeople could have been more polite, but they were far from straightout rude. And give them a break for trying to sell it to you, they need money just like we do and when you make commission, it gets really tough. Showroom is small, but that's just because the building is small, also, they can't really help that. Overall, 4*.

this is the worst service manger i've ever meant they also left my bike out in the rain at least cover it but no cover

i have been going here for a million years now just because its right up the street from me. but they never have anything in stock and i allways have to order it. they says 2-3 days and it takes 2 weeks EVER TIME but its still a decent place to go everything else is good
Posted On: 06/20/09
owner will not even look your way unless you have your wallet out and thats only after he had one of his salesmen try to empty your bank account from trying to sell you something you did not want!!!! you should be out of business!!!

i didn't like the sales guys but the people behind the parts counter were very nice and hlepful but they are still just as, if not more expensive than anywhere around including excalibur

theie service was great, brought my zx 10 in for a tune up and walked out with a much better understanding of the mechanics of the bike, i strongly reccomend them for service. on the other hand their sales people suck, i actually bought my bike elsewhere but will still go in for oil changes ect.

hopefully they all end up like the big three gm's. offer you 5 cents for trade and sell left overs for current year prices .even when you had bought several bikes and an atv not to mention parts..never anything you need in stock
Posted On: 04/05/09
Ive been going to them for years and never had a problem, WAY better to deal with than excalibur motorsports
Posted On: 02/27/09
they have ok prices but look for the long term deal youll be much happier at other places

Definitely worth the trip from RI, dealers over here suck, service was excellent, very reasonable, had my 05 vulcan 1500 in for carb clean, it never ran this good new, thanks a million.

Mechanic doing warranty work was warranting parts he needed for his Ninja. But never repairing the drivability problem. After the 5 time back I was told by the owener I was "nickle diming him with the warranty". I just wanted my new bike to run better than the old one (1982 Yamaha). And they would never take it back in trade. It's a 1989 bought in 1990 with 14000 miles on it now (2008). never did figure it out.

Once you get to know these guys, they are the best in the business. The entire staff is honest and fair in every bike purchase or accessory transaction and are also knowledgeable and skilled in every type of repair situation. I've bought several bikes from these guys. No other Yamaha dealer comes close.
